Demolition and industrial reclaim

The consortium’s members are ready to offer an all-inclusive package concerning the recovery of defunct industrial areas, on-site treatment of pollutants and also waste recovery and disposal, including asbestos-based construction materials.
We can deliver services for the whole reclaiming cycle, from the transport up to temporary storage, recovery treatments and disposal of a wide range of wastes (special, hazardous, non-hazardous, toxic harmful, assimilable).
We work with specific treatment centres in many foreign countries, developing close partnerships with the whole spectrum of plants involved in reclaiming:

  • Incinerators
  • Controlled landfills of all categories
  • Peculiar recycling centres
  • Platforms equipped for temporary storage and neutralization

Recycling

One of the key activities of the consortium’s members is special demolition, a field of intervention where we hold a leading position both in Italy and overseas. Thanks to our cutting edge technologies and decades of experience in this area we can accomplish demolitions of any size and in any environmental conditions, with a feasibility that allows us to work under very strict legislations, in a wide range of countries.

We can offer to our clients a spectrum of services that include:

  • Controlled demolitions using diamond tools
  • Hydrodemolition
  • Dismantling of prefabricated buildings
  • Large metal structures (bridges; industrial plants; various infrastructures)
  • Usage of remote controlled electronic tools

We also have a division entirely dedicated to recycling activities, able to recover elements such as roof tiles, bricks, wooden joists and floors. These elements are then reintroduced into a production supply chain already packed, thanks to accurate selection and to specific treatments. The procedures’ standards are set to deliver a recycled product matching the quality standards of the original product.

HYPOCHLORITE PLANTS

The consortium has set up a team with 20 years experience in membrane technology, able to establish an advanced design low cost electrolysis unit (electrolyser and transformer/rectifier) in order to make the investment attractive for customers.

The standard electrolysis unit is the “ChlorPlus “ module where, depending upon the production required, one or two MBE (0,16) modular bipolar electrolyser stacks are connected by a common piping system and fed by one transformer/rectifier.

Benefits:

  • Without doubt, the bipolar arrangement is the best solution to produce chlorine and caustic soda by electrolysis with membrane cells.
  • A bipolar electrolyser costs less compared to a monopolar cell and exhibits lower power consumption
  • Small size plastic body elementary cells assembled in one stack result in an easy electrolyser operation, easier and cheaper control and maintenance
  • MBE (0,16) exhibits small electrodes (0,16 m2 ) conceived to get very limited production capacities through the adoption of a cell room with a reduced number of an “individual” which is of great importance for the operation of the plant

ChlorPlus modules have been conceived to fulfil at best above needs. Cost is an important issue when the decision has to be taken. The offered technology can adopt cheaper materials for electrodes manufacturing without changing their peculiar design, which results in a lower investment. We also make estimates for a “tailored plant” whose output is a sodium hypochlorite solution with concentration limited to 10% (100 gpl ) available chlorine.

Water supply systems: aqueducts and mains

There is no facet of water supply and distribution systems where we can not intervene, having at our disposal an important background and a wide knowledge achieved through so much experience in this field.

In water supplies, the main fields covered, both in Italy and overseas, are:

  • Water mains laying
  • Transportation plants for drinkable water
  • Aqueducts construction
  • Large scale irrigation plants
  • Rainwater harvesting and reclaiming plants
  • Dewatering pump installation
  • Dams, artificial levees and floodgates

Engineering

The main rule of the engineering division is to provide a product or a structure “ready to use” and able to match all expectations of the commissioner, along with the restraining of the cost of the whole work.

The companies that are part of the consortium are ready to offer turnkey projects, developing the integrated design from the feasibility study, up to the basic and detailed Engineering Services. We manage Civil, Industrial and Power Plants, as well as the Project Management, Field Supervision, and Commissioning.

The wide range of works and infrastructures created by our integrated engineering division includes high-density technology sites, with further specialisation in the following fields:

  • Power generation, Thermal and Co-generation plants
  • Chemical and Petrochemical plants
  • Treatment of Waste Water and Flue Gases
  • Oil & Gas Plants
  • Buildings, infrastructures and transportation
  • Docks, hydraulic and marine works
  • Special and Earthquake resistant buildings
  • Tertiary, business offices and headquarter infrastructures
